Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is the daughter of the mixed race family of South London in England. Her father and mother were both English. She was born and lived in a housing estate run by the council in the south of London. At the age 14she enrolled in The Brit School. She studied acting in The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. During her time at the academy, she performed in several performances on stage, such as the King Henry V playing Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe's acting career began in the series Storm Damage. Over the past few years Madekwe's appearance in Teachers and Doctors. Madekwe's breakout came with 2007's Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream. It was in the role of Colin Farrell (who played the part of Cassandra) and Ewan McGrath. Her success resulted in her being cast as Elisha in a one-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. Later, she appeared in six episodes Trexx and Flipside in the role of Ollie. In 2008, she had the opportunity to play the role in the role of Bambi in the ITV2 drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl, appearing in three and two series. Madekwe also appeared on the comedic How to Lose Friends and to annoy people (2008). Her theatre credits include Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams and Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe was cast as Ashley Davenport in ABC's show The Beautiful Life. The two-episode drama aired just 2 weeks at The CW and then it was cancelled. Ashley Davenport was her role in the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe was a regular in the drama series of Revenge on ABC for two seasons. It was revealed in May 2013 that she would leave the series after making an appearance in the initial season of the third. She played Tituba in the show Salem between 2014 and 2016. Madekwe and her partner who has been with her for a long time, Iddo Goldenberg, were married in June 2012. Both have appeared in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also starred together in Salem.

Ashley Leggat, a twice Gemini nominated actress was raised in a big family from Hamilton, Ontario. Four of her older brothers were also present and included twins Todd & Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley's brothers, who were each of them extremely athletic, played hockey during the winter and baseball during the summer months, which means she basically grew up in arenas and baseball parks. Ashley was never able to walk, but she danced. As she was two and a half, she began Baby Ballet and fell in with. Ashley was captivated by dance at this age. Ashley competed in top-level divisions in jazz, tap hip-hop, ballet the lyrical musical theatre, acrobatics and pointe, until she finished high school. The top soloist at major competitions such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance which were all given to Ashley.
