Molly is a native of Pennsylvania. She was born and raised in Pennsylvania and began her professional career in Philadelphia at Prince Music Theater at 13 years old. Her first performance was The Snow Queen. She portrayed Little Red Ridinghood shortly after in the Arden Theater s Into the Woods production, for which she won the Barrymore Award nomination. Molly was able to reprise this role when she made her Broadway debut at age 15 with Into the Woods on Broadway in 2002. In the same year, she was nominated for a Drama League Award. Molly was also a part of the Broadway revival Fiddler on the Roof, in 2004. She graduated in 2008 and received her B.A. from Princeton University. in Religion. When she was in the university, Molly was the first actress to make her debut on stage as a character in Disney College Road Trip playing Wendy Greenhut. After graduation Molly was in Off-Broadway productions of several productions, including End Days at Ensemble Studio Theater and in some television work including Royal Pains and an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly has appeared in regional productions such as The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in Barrington the Stage Company and the NSH Music Theatre's 2008 production and the Westport Country Playhouse 2010 production of The Diary of Anne Frank where she played Anne. Molly is most well-known for her role as Ali in Paranormal Activity 2 and for the ABC comedy Last Man Standing written by Jack Burditt starring Tim Allen.
