Cynthia Louise Bissett is her mother. She was vice-president for mobile operator Verizon. Her father was Joseph Anthony Germanotta, Jr. who was an entrepreneur. He also served as director of an internet company. She was born in the Manhattan's Upper East Side, where she is part of a Catholic family. This is why her parents put their daughter at the Convent of the Sacred Heart. It is a Catholic, elitist school. When she was a child, she was passionate about music.
